DOCX to PDF converts Microsoft Word documents into a fixed-layout PDF so they open identically everywhere. Use it when a recipient does not have Word, or when you need a format that cannot be edited by accident.

Why use DOCX to PDF?
Office documents are made for editing, while PDFs are made for reading and sharing. Converting between them means you can send a finished spreadsheet or report that nobody can accidentally reflow, and pull text back out when you need to work on it again. Everything runs locally, so drafts and internal data stay on your machine.

Your privacy
This tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. The file you select is read into your device's memory, converted there and offered back as a download — it is never uploaded to our servers. Closing or reloading the page clears it. If you are signed in, we store only the tool name, the number of files and their total size so you can see your own activity history; the file contents are never sent.
Tips for the best result
- Simple layouts convert most faithfully; heavy use of text boxes, custom fonts or macros may shift.
- Embed or replace unusual fonts before converting so text is not substituted.
- Check page breaks and table widths in the output — spreadsheets in particular can be wider than a page.
- Keep your editable original; the converted file is a copy, not a replacement.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between this and Word to PDF?
They use the same conversion engine; the two entries exist so the tool is easy to find under both the PDF and Document categories.
Are tables and images converted?
Text content converts reliably. Complex tables, floating images and custom fonts may render differently, so check the output before distributing it.
Can I convert PDF back to Word here?
Not yet. PDF to Word requires server-side processing and is not among the currently available tools.
Is anything stored?
No. The conversion runs in your browser with JavaScript and WebAssembly, so the file never leaves your device and nothing is uploaded to our servers.
