Your privacy
This tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. The file you select is read into your device's memory, converted there and offered back as a download — it is never uploaded to our servers. Closing or reloading the page clears it. If you are signed in, we store only the tool name, the number of files and their total size so you can see your own activity history; the file contents are never sent.
Tips for the best result
- Give downloaded files a descriptive name so you can find them later.
- Test generated QR codes with a real phone camera before printing them.
- For archives, group related files first — the structure you select is the structure you get.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't my code be read?
Blurred, angled, cropped or low-contrast images often fail. Retake the photo straight-on with the whole code visible.
Does it open the link automatically?
No. The decoded text is shown so you can review it first.
Is my image uploaded?
No. The conversion runs in your browser with JavaScript and WebAssembly, so the file never leaves your device and nothing is uploaded to our servers.
Are other barcode types supported?
Only QR codes are supported.
