Tips for the best result

  • Start from the highest-quality original you have; converting an already-compressed file twice loses detail.
  • If you need transparency, keep the output in PNG or WebP — JPG cannot store an alpha channel.
  • When resizing for the web, set the width you actually display at rather than shrinking a huge image in CSS.
  • Compress last, after cropping and resizing, so you are not re-encoding the same pixels repeatedly.

Can I choose which part of the image is kept?

The crop is anchored to the top-left corner. For a different region, rotate or pre-crop the image in an editor first.

What if the crop size is larger than the image?

The output is limited to the available pixels; the image is not stretched.

Can I crop several images at once?

Yes, all selected images are cropped to the same dimensions.

Is anything uploaded?
